Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and sign-in identifier.
• Membership data: your access status and the dates you were first and last seen in the app.
• Subscription data: subscription status, plan, billing period and the payment provider's customer and subscription identifiers.
• The questions you submit, in order to generate an answer.

We do not receive or store your card number, CVC or expiry date. Those are handled entirely by Stripe.

Why we hold it

To create and secure your account, to determine whether your subscription entitles you to access, to process payments and issue invoices, and to operate and improve the service.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing, invoicing and billing portal.
• Our hosting and database provider — account, membership and subscription records.
• Our AI model provider — the text of your question and the relevant book passages, in order to generate an answer.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Retention

Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists and afterwards only as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile and access records.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email altaf@altaf.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage strictly needed to keep you signed in and to run the checkout. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
